#336; moved to the beach

A few weeks ago, I alluded to a big change coming in my life. Well, it’s happened now. I’ve packed my bags, quit my job, and moved to the beach. Specifically, Myrtle Beach. My time in Boston was incredible – I have a very complicated relationship with that city – but it was time for it to end.

I moved to Boston for idealistic, romantic reasons, and I’m grateful to have had those reasons, but every so often one has to start over, with a little less rose tint in their eyes, and that’s what I’m doing here. Now in my thirties, I’m focusing on my financial state, my psychological health, and my family. And I’m looking forward to that.

It’s hard to say goodbye, and the move is, honestly, harder than I thought it would be. I find myself in Limbo once again, and quieter, somehow a little sadder, than I was last time.

Here we are, then, coming to you life from the sandy shores of South Carolina.
