Looking forward to one of my favorite events of the month – Cake & Kisses at Asylum, tonight! Nothing beats consignment shopping downstairs as the party gets warming up (groups like Hella Tuff make a monthly appearance) and then heading up to great drinks (some of the best bartenders in Adams Morgan populate this joint) and freestyle rap battles presented by DC Rap and Rosetta Stoned.

This is the sort of party where everyone shakes their butt off every month (which is totally necessary after CakeLove has finished with you – did I mention there’s free cake?!).

Would love to see you all there for a great (free!) party and some of the hottest live hip hop (with a band for back up) in the city.
