I don’t have any Super Bowl traditions, but I saw this .GIF on tumblr and couldn’t help but notice how appropriate it is for the most glutinous day on the American calendar.

Tonight is a low key affair for us in Dorchester; we’re watching movies and eating leftovers, because neither of us care about either San Fransisco or Baltimore. It’s also a late night game, not even started yet, and I actually start at my new position tomorrow morning. The combination of arts, politics, progressive causes, passionate people, and fabulous attitudes totally trumps my love of American football so I plan on being in bed early tonight and starting tomorrow on the right foot.
