I’ve made no secret of my love of IOTA, in Clarendon (it is positively the only reason I ever venture south of the District unless I’m skipping VA entirely). However, I’ve always felt something might be missing. Something like The Nine at DC9, or those chill nights at Dahlak on U St. Evenings of singer/songwriter showcases, listening room vibes with musicians doing their thing with as little flash and pomp as possible.
